When the Lost Gods joined Shem's Pantheons, their Aspects became better understood by the magic-users of the world. In the early days, it was a lot of educated guesswork figuring out the Aspects, but eventually, patterns emerged. The scholar Poram Hilan was attracted to what would come to be called Pyrite magic, the magic of the Prankster Goddess. She became the foremost user of it within a decade of its appearance, and this brought her to the attention of the Soapmen.
