Póilín

An aos si saoiste, Póilín is a huntress who was transformed by the power of the Hunt. She became a hero among her people for standing up to the Wild Hunt as a teenager, becoming captured by it, and returning to her people as a defender. This led the Hunt to seeking her out and trapping her in an ancient story, which sent her back in time.

Póilín grew up as the son of a sealgair (hunter) and a fiodior (weaver) in the feudal era. At the age of 13, she was out late trying to meet up with a friend in order to sneak off to a party, defying her parents and societal convention and being caught by the Wild Hunt. Refusing to let her friend be taken, she lured the Hunt away and tried to fight it, but was ensnared and taken away. As a member of the Hunt, she was subjected to a ritual in which she was transformed by it (thus her new gender) and becoming renewed as a powerful sealgair herself. She eventually escaped the Hunt, returned to her family, and sought to teach them to fight it, leading to her fate trapped in the past during the time of empires.

During Fragmentation, she realized she might be able to return home.
