Olloth-Arturianis earned the Garnet Scale Crown in single combat against a garnet dragon that tried to take her territory. Just to prove her superiority, she then set out to Master the Crown, using the garnet dragon's lifesblood as a source of power. She warped the Crown to her will and greatness, altering it to the subaspect of Majesty, then conquered the territories of the garnet dragon's immediate family as well. Ten millenia later, she was called by the King of All Dragons to aid in the Manifestation Wars, and she answered. They became lovers for a while, but she grew bored with him and left him. When she returned to her territory, she found it overrun by dwarves. She decided to move on, seeking new realms for herself.
And that's when she met Barra Monsapple. The woman had entered the mountains seeking gold, working as a prospector with her husband, who had broken his legs a few days before. The dragon was intrigued by the woman's sheer grit and went to speak with her. Most mortals would have been cowed by the approach of the massive Crowned dragon, but Barra looked at her with a steady gaze, right in the eyes. The two talked and became friends quite quickly. Theys truck up a deal: Olloth-Arturianis would scout locations and Barra would find the manpower to excavate. Deal made, Barra returned to the mining camp to find her husband, legs mysteriously mended, entertaining some local girls on his lap. Not thinking twice, Barra put a bullet between his eyes and told the girls to run for their lives. She then called for ten strong prospectors to help with her sure claim. Eventually, she got fourteen. She went back to the mountains and found Olloth-Arturianis.
Fifteen years later, their gold became a large company, and Olloth-Arturianis took Barra to meet some Aeonians who might be interested in backing their endeavors. Kinte Jara, the Merchant-Princess, had better ideas, though. When she met Barra, she knew she had finally found the person to fulfill her toughest contract--finding a Consort for the Diamond God. She introduced the two, and thus was borne the greatest merchant empire in the history of the world.
Olloth-Arturianis quickly settled into her new role as chairman of the board of directors, while Barra worked as CEO.
