Mungo is the founder of the Jester Guilds of the Chrysanthemum Empire. He calls himself the Duke of Clowns, and he attained inmortality by making the Scarred Mother laugh with his pratfalls. He is the greatest in the world at pratfalls. He can fall on his ass like no other. He is perhaps one of the few competent people in the Court of Idiots, and as such, he serves as spymaster there, though Gota doesn't realize it. He is Gota's closest and best adviser.
