A high ranking member of the Brotherhood of the Lamp, Martin is the head of all smuggling and blackmarketeering in eastern Palhur. Not wanting to risk anyone of his brethren, he sent out contacts to discover a suitable tester. He learned of Mudpie and hired him, but the situation got ugly when Mudpie objected to a stray comment by a captain.
