| Description | Enders appear to be human in every respect, save for their eyes, which are solid white or red with no iris or pupil. They can still see, however. All enders have seminal genitalia and are almost always male-assigned at birth. Culturally, they favor visible muscles and close cropped hair. Intersex enders are possible, but usually killed. |
| Procreation | Enders are not capable of giving birth. They rely on other humans, metahumans, or adelfoi for birthing parents. Outside of these species/nations, they can only reproduce with supernatural intervention. |
| Esoterica | Enders are beings of emotional resonance, hollow energy, and raz davit'. They are known to also use infernum, arnum, quaestus, imperium, baleblood, feirua, doom, uafas, hunger, vile energy, rending, tyvka vlast, livadi, lahab al'qalb, mijjit, mansam, Raesian energy, blood energy, other humors, ethereal essence, nommos, blasphemy, d'qiarsea, oalkhaylaoataa, kakraohy, b'qar, gemtkhereg, kor, and gebvel. Among the main ender nation, a pozhiratel' dush (literally, "soulstealer"; pl. pozhirateli dush) is a special esotercist who combines emotional resonance, hollow energy, raz davit', quaestus, imperium, and blood magic in order to bond slaves to ender nobles and military leaders to turn them into invincible warriors. These warriors make up the Konets Korpus, or Ender Corps. |
| Special Powers | Enders can turn fear resonance into strength bonuses during times of heightened adrenaline. They are generally resistant (but not immune) to disease and poison. |
| Senses | Konets can sense weakness in others via a warped form of empathy. Instead of sensing emotions, they sense where a person is emotionally vulnerable. |
| Touch | Enders can cause wounds with the touch of their hands. They can do this through a thin layer of cloth, but direct skin contact is best. Anything more than a thin layer of mundane cloth will impede their attach. The wounding is nearly instantaneous, but the longer they hold it, the larger the wound will be. The scale is as follows, based on wounding in a non-critical area (neck wounds are almost always mortal, for instance):
This is the measure of the length of the wound. This can be adjusted for width or depth by halving the size (for width) or sixthing it (for depth). Their wounding power can affect flesh, muscle, organs, but not bone. Shells, wood, and other hard biological substances are similar to bone, but softer tissues and substances can be wounded on plants, fungi, etc. Many enders study different wounding techniques that allow them to more quickly perform certain attacks. The most horrifying is called zdyrannya ("flaying"), in which they make three long wounds and are able to remove most of the skin from a human(ish) body. |
| Taint | The wounds caused by a konets ender leave a mark on the minds of those who survive and heal from them. These marks are in the brain and thus not visible, but they are are similar to scar tissue. This tainted brain flesh (or portit') allows any ender to instantly recognize those with the taint, giving the ender insight into the person bearing it. This translates into a bonus to Read People stat above the weakness sense. It also tells the ender when and who wounded the individual. If the wound is special or mortal, the taint will poison the fictim (power 13+); if the person recovers, they will have permanent weakness in the part of their body where the taint is. |
| Weaknesses | Ujjval aatma can kill them. |
| Culture | Originally, enders were magically/genetically engineered by Vesturians from Maskovian soldiers captured in battle in order to create super-soldiers who were inherently terrifying. What they created would ahve been impossible had not the goddess Dostizheniye intervened. What they created had no true soul, no freedom, no ability to resist their intended purpose. What they created was bound intrisically to the Infernal Realms, but certain events in the long history of the ender nations cause major changes. The first, very early in their existence, was the death and resurrection of the Bronccour, a messianic figure on First Shem. An ender named Vanev slew him, and when the Bronccour returned to life as a messiah, enders were freed of their bondage to Vesturia and the Infernal Realms. They became a distinct species, though most ended up re-enslaved by Vesturia. The second major event was the transition and ascension of Aurelia Lucent and her lover, which allowed enders to feel normal human emotions without succumbing to the sadistic senses they were imbued with. They were given agency to be more than they were. Finally, the third event was the creation of Third Shem and several major national splits. Notably, those who remained as part of the Vesturian slave-armies became the konets. Because the original enders were engineered from soldiers of a patriarchal army, they were all male. The violent evil of Dostizheniye and her followers saw this as a permanent feature to encourage their super-soldiers to be symbols of masculine perfection in their twisted view of gender. As such, to this day, enders among the dokintsya are assigned male at birth. Though it is rare, there are times when an ender child is born in a body others might consider female; these intersex children are raised as male. Any deviation of the rigid gender they are assigned is met with abuse and derision, and usually death, unless the ender flees the dokintsya community. The Vesturian enders, the konets', are a privileged nation. Though they began as an enslaved group, they have grown into an independent and distinct nation with their own unique rights within the old empire. There are members of the konets' that are part of both the ruling class and the underclasses, like the d'yavol'skiy and Vesturian humans, but most make up a warrior caste within the empire that is somewhere between the two. Konets' originally were created to be part of the Ender Corps. Those who led this force became nobility eventually, while the lower ranks remained commoners, though better off than most commoners. The most powerful of the konets' are the |

| Other Nations | Other than the nations that broke away and evolved other powers, there are a few small nations of enders that formed elsewhere as enders fled enslavement. Notably, one in Srisia, which mixes Vesturian, Maskovian, and Srisian cultures; one in southern Ranu, an oppressed nomadic group with a mix of southern Ranic traditions; and one in the forests of Colesh, where they worship certain spirits of freedom and liberation and hate Vesturia and Maskovy alike. |
| Outside Views | Enders are feared the world over, seen as oppressors and killers. Most do not realize they are anything more than horrifying super-soldiers. |
