Description Standing 7' tall, hawghagyi are white-fleshed, monstrous beings with multiple heads (2-3), pairs of arms (2-4), and animal features (2-6). They are extremely varied, looking like bleached, anthropopmorphic versions of chimerics. They always have huge jaws.
Procreation Hawghagyi procreate with one another sexually. They do not reproduce outside their own nation.
Esoterica Hawghagyi are beings of blasphemy. They exist within The Pit, where other powers do not reach. They are master warlocks.
Special Powers A haghagyi absorbs the faith from the souls of those they eat. As they rend the flesh, they rend the soul, separating aspects of it. They give most to Kroni and take what they need to feed.
Service As servants of Kroni, they can invoke his power by speaking the words Teliggna Kelha, which will bring about effects based on Kroni's will.
Demonology

As infernal beings, hawghagyi can be summoned, captured, channeled, or controlled.

To summon a hawghagyi, one must have either some fuligin material (stone, sand, metal) or a holy emblem that has been desecrated. It must be placed in a circle of power, and a major blasphemy must be committed (murdering or torturing a faithful). Once summoned, the hawghagyi will be eager to make a deal in order to get the faith present. If one has other faithful to offer, the deal will be easier. They can offer control over Pit-monsters, protection from fuligin sand, soulrending blades, or access to the power of Kroni, but the price will be the faith of others.

To capture a hawghagyi, one must take one of their teeth, a bit of fuligin sand or stone or a desecrated holy relic, and cast them into a fire within a circle of power, then call upon the Adversary or One True God. To channel its power once it is captured, one must wound it with its own jaws, then scatter fuligin sand in a circle around the circle of power, then overcome the hawghagyi's will. Controlling them requires the same, but with an added step of invoking a prayer over them to weaken them.

Weaknesses The Law will eradicate them. They cannot survive outside The Pit. Virtue, especially piety, can repel them, and any kind of faith of significant power can seal them. One must merely pray fervently.
Culture Along the sides of The Pit, there are hanging cities called c'nasc. These cities are etched into the side of The Pit by the haghagyi. Each city is ruled by a dekephat, a warlord who controls the rest through fear. Each warlord answers to the Manifest, who rules from the largest c'nasc. As they cannot leave The Pit, they rely on either Pit-monsters or other followers to bring them slaves and sacrifices, which are the center of their entire culture. They believe that with enough sacrifices to Kroni, he will rise again.
. Religion Hawghagyi worship the One True God and the force behind him. They believe that one day, both will rise from The Pit, and they shall inherit the world. They have a complex faith that is very similar to the Harkanian church, but without the structure. Instead, they simply have their Manifest as their leader of the faith and the community. All others bow to her, and she leads the sacrifices to the One True God.
Gender They have a rigid gender binary enforced by the fear and terror wielded by the dekephats.
Military Every c'nasc has a garrison of soldiers called p'tauggha, who serve the warlord or Manifest.
Other Nations There is one splinter nation of hawghagyi, the haruau, who believe their gods are dead. Instead, they worship The Pit itself. They are hated by the haghaghyi.
Outside View Only Harkanians are really aware of the hawghagyi, whom they view as rivals and heretics.
