Hamasat

The energy of the desert, of arid regions, of xeric shrublands, of sand, and of the dry season. This also includes energies of the oases. As glass is melted sand, roshen is considered by some to be a kind of hamasat. As an aether of a landscape as well as a material, it covers many different dry regions and subsets of other aethers, including kazaddarean, kiiric yihi, and all lifeforms (xerocole, xerophytes and cacti, xerofungi, and anhydrophilic microbes). Arroyos, badlands, chaparral, deserts, dried mudflats, dune fields, ergs, exodeserts, ferrodeserts, hamadas, hard lands, lomas (which often includes mist energy), oases, dry plateaus, playas, polar deserts (which might include hvittdogg), rock flats and rock deserts, scrub and scrub lands, shattered lands, stony deserts, wadis, xeric regions, volcanic deserts (which also include vulcanos). Dust devils and sandstorms often fall under this as well.
