Gizziqlaaq

As a flea folk seer, Gizziqlaaq came under the eyes of the watchers because they predicted the Fragmentation when none others did (at least, publicly). In the wilds of Wymmera, Gizziqlaaq dwelled alone, sought out by travelers and leaders during the antediluvian era for their ability to see the future and advise. They always asked a heavy price - usually that the asker make a significant sacrifice and also give food and water of considerable quantity, depending on the profundity of the scrying. For the past year and a half before the Fragmentation, Gizziqlaaq began to only tell people that time itself would be destroyed in the near future.

Gizziqlaaq lost their family during an earthquake when they were a child and survived on their own for a year and a day before they were rescued by a wandering seer. The seer, a weaver avian folk, took them in and taught them their arts, seeing in them the promise of an inheritor to their skills. When their adoptive parent died a decade later, Gizziqlaaq went into the wilderness to live alone and contemplate the threads of fate. They one day met a traveling tinker and traded a scrying for some food and water, and thus word began to spread of their powers.

Their childhood trauma led them to be a loner, but they enjoyed the visits of those seeking their services. History records that they lived out their days and never spoke of the Fragmentation, so their ability to perceive it is achronolous and worthy of investigation.
