Gilad is the River-farer of the Omri tribe. In Riverkin lore, all rivers are one river. As such, their boats may travel to anywhere in the world by any river. A River-farer is the member of a tribe who has the power to shift the boats to rivers that are not physically connected by taking the boats into the astral rivers. They are the only ones who know how to navigate the astral rivers, and as such, they are extremely important to a tribe.
