Gaermann is an Aeonian that embodies the neutral nature of weather, bringing both positive and negative forms of weather, and of the natural cycle of vegetation. He is a figure of fertility as well. He is mostly associated with hail, however, as that is the chiefest of his powers. He is known to like dedications of dolls and similar figures that flatter him. He is weak to drought, and as such, he wipes it out when he finds it. He is allied with the Rains and the Green Queen in the fight against fuligin dust.
