Age of Flames
  • 1 - Temperatures rise. Fires begin. Droughts begin. Marion Justus Valance takes the form of a cowboy.
  • 7 - The Cult of the Absolute Zero gains great power.
  • 21 - The Champion of Flames fights the Disciple of the Absolute Zero, burning most of the world's cities in the process. Tech level is dramatically reduced.
  • 49 - The Champion quells the flames, but the damage is done: most of the world hates him. The Order of Foxhunters is formed.
  • 151 - The Champion's penance is accepted by many, though his sway over most of the world is still small.
  • 227 - The Order of Foxhunters form the White Axis. The War of the Fox begins.
  • 250 - The Champion's power is broken by the Foxhunters. The War of the Fox ends.
  • 396 - The Foxhunters have complete control of the world. Tech level returns to Biblical times level.
  • 761 - The Champion returns, this time as a rebel against the brutal oppression practiced by the Foxhunters. The War of the Firefly begins.
  • 767 - The Champion defeats the High Foxhunter in single combat as the rebels destroy the Council of Ten. The Foxhunters' might is ended. The War of the Firefly ends.
  • 771 - The Champion allows the nations of the world to start reforming on their own while he insinuates his agents where he can.
  • 808 - A gnomish breakthrough brings trains back well before most other major technologies.
  • 1055 - A challenger to the Champion arises in the jungles. He claims he will become the next Champion, and he raises an army. The War of the Tiger begins.
  • 1062 - The Challenger, a tigrisian, wins through to take the Mountain of Trials. He faces the Champion in single combat and loses, badly. The War of the Tiger ends.
  • 1216 - The technology level reaches late middle ages.
  • 1462 - The Champion gains control of a third of the world. The tech level accelerates, matching Earth's age of expansion.
  • 1632 - The Champion is convinced to do something about droughts. He begins countering the worldwide drought by buying water from the Champion of Water. His influence spreads.
  • 1768 - Tech level reaches 19th century as major advances are made.
  • 1965 - Yanisin born.
  • 1970 - Madame Viere born.
  • 1971 - Isidore Firfov born.
  • 1982 - Delaney and Delano Avett born.
  • 1998 - *Time Stream Riven*
  • 2015 - The Champion gains control of half the world.
  • 2237 - Tech level reaches 20th century. A warlord arises on Palhur to challenge the Champion once more. The War of the Salamander begins.
  • 2242 - The Champion tricks the Warlord and defeats him, gaining total control of Palhur. The War of the Salamander ends.
  • 2279 - The Champion achieves space travel. Visits to all three moons occur.
  • 2484 - The Champion gains control of the underground realms.
  • 3067 - Tech level reaches cyberpunk levels.
  • 3429 - The Champion conquers the world.
  • 3713 - The Champion controls the seas.
  • 3880 - The Champion controls the moons.
  • 3909 - The Champion meets Taka Citlali and begins a romance.
  • 4010 - The Champion splits the world between the Flame Court: The First Red Dragon gets the underground realms. The Warden of Beltane takes over Ranu. The Queen of Rubes takes Ailanea. The First Ka'ar has Taggarus. The Jabberwock has Ansulym. The Champion has Dabusen. The Three Tigers take one moon each. Flame Ascendent is the shadow ruler of Cassaru and Fasune. The Master of Burning Flames takes Palhur. The seas are ruled by the Firedancer of Beltane.
  • 4271 - The world gets so hot technology stops working, water is almost forgotten in most parts of the world, and everything is either intense jungle or dry desert.
  • 4566 - The tech level reduces drastically as everything gets too hot to work.
  • 4882 - The wildfires are unquenchable.
  • 5000 - The Champion ascends; the Age ends. The continents rise in the air and the heat reduces dramatically.
