Fidei Defensor (Defensatrix for females) are a new class of Mountain-born, created by Lydia Sinistra as she claimed her right at the end of her Trials on the Mountain, and granted to the Bright Elf Consequent Sewael. Though higher in rank than a Champion, the rank does not have an attendant set of followers. It is specifically a singular title, one that conveys all power to an individual, who is tasked with defending an entire Pantheon or Pantheons. There can be more than one per Pantheon(s), but they are all independent figures.
