Champion
A Champion is someone who climbs the Mountain and declares for a Divine. As a Champion, they gain certain powers from their Divine that they keep and gain power in so long as they fight for and defend the Divine. Every Divine may have a Champion, but most do not last long, being on the frontlines.
Powers
Every Champion is granted five powers by their Divine relating to the Aspect their Divine represents.
Second
The right-hand of a Champion, their
Second, is their successor in battle if they fall. They have their own three powers.
Relics and Custodians
Every Champion has a
Relic that gains their power when they die. One of their followers is a
Custodian who bears their Relic so that it is not lost when the Champion falls.
Servitors
Servitors are lesser followers of a Champion who have a single power each.
Nemesis
Every Champion has the ability to draw from themselves the antithesis to the energies of their Divine and remove completely anything but the power of their Divine. In doing this, the energies they draw out and discard coalesce into a living
Nemesis that is their opposite and enemy. Once they do this, they stop being a Champion and instead become a
Paragon.
Ascendance
A Paragon can ascend to a
Quintessent.
