Dhu

A baijinji iwi atua who serves rainbow serpents, Dhu is a galeru. She went on many journeys into the realm of dreams to find a rainbow serpent who would take her as a servant, but once she found one, she returned to the world and found much time had passed. She has spent many years since trying to find her way back in time to her own time. She is from the antediluvian era, but she found herself in the era of infotech. She rejects modern technology because she fears it will trap her in the modern times, preferring the advanced esoteric tools of her own time.

As a child, she realized she was what we would call trans in modern parlance. She was accepted as a spiritual leader and warrior, and the elders asked her to seek the rainbow serpents to help them during a drought. Because this was her task, she feels she must return to her time in order to help them with the drought rather than stay where the rainbow serpents sent her.

History as it is recorded suggests she vanished from her own time, appeared in the infotech era, and died there, but the Fragmentation has given her the opportunity to return home.
