| Description | At birth, all dragons look like large, pink worms. At maturity, dragons grow to be vast, feathered, winged serpents with pale celadon green scales and long yellow beaks. Their eyes change colors with the seasons (silver, green, red, gold, amber, cobalt, rust, white, aquamarine). |
| Procreation | Dragons mate with each other only. Without intense supernatural interference, half-dragons are an impossibility. Dragons lay one to three eggs at a time. Upon hatching, a dragon immediately begins absorbing background energies. All dragon eggs are filled with pure, liquid draconic energy, which sustains the baby dragon upon hatching. |
| Esoterica | Celadon dragons have absorbed great amounts of seasonal aether. They also acquire viridian aether and other forms of aether, especially pattern, winds, lunar, sol angelic, brumal, and currents. Poioumenon, symbolism, fortune, fate, and mashoaab are not uncommon. Divine energies are possible. Other energies are rare. Brown msawhat is impossible. |
| Special Powers | Dragons gain new powers as they accumulate more energies. At each stage of growth, they gain a new ability, usually culminating with the twelfth ability when they accumulate . The usual progression of powers is as follows:
All dragons accumulate energies by absorbing them naturally from the area around them. As such, they must carefully cultivate their lairs to provide the right kinds of energies, hence they hoard appropriate objects. Other common powers include seasonal shifts in powers, instill celebration, control weather, steam breath weapon, animal control, and create lifeform. |
| Alternate Forms | Celadon dragons sometimes take the form of a habitian. |
| Weaknesses | Msawhat can harm them. |
| Subspecies | Calumet dragons are celadon dragons who have absorbed more seasonal energy than most and become one with the seasons. They have hundreds of heads, once for each day of the year, and each head has a different power for that day. |
| Culture | Celadon dragons are protectors of their rain forest domains. They make alliances with locals and form their own tribes, which they devote to protecting the natural area. They oppose civilization and keep their domains simple and in harmony. They lay eggs in tree boles and have guards which vary by season. Eveyr season opens with a festival, and each festival is designed to draw in seasonal energy. Celadon dragons have very orderly lives and their domains alter specifically with each season, and as the seasons change, the dragons do as well, altering their tasks as needed. They have different mates in different seasons. When a celadon dragon grows old, they begin to become static in form and season, and when they are out of sync, they fade slowly until there is a major festival celebrating their re-entry into nature at death. |
