Gifted Phial of Cleansing - does mundane cleaning and also cleanses infernal energies, purifies or cleans anything at power 25, enchances what it cleans if that which it cleans is not infernal by adding +1 to +12 depending - Castor's lens will vary because it is paradoxical, every time he cleanses it, he will have to roll a d12. The effect will last another d12 minutes. He can reuse it three times before having to wait for the Phial to refill. The Phial takes either 25 hours of subjective time to refill (meaning he has to have it on his person, because frozen time does not count) or quicker if he uses it for a celestial purpose - cleaning or helping an anti-infernal cause. He can also increase its restoration time if he does either manual cleaning for someone in need or uses cleaning water from his own home to refill it manually. The former will take 2 hours off restoration for every hour he spends cleaning; the latter will take 10 hours off restoration.

History

In the antediluvian era, mortals achieved great feats of magick before the rise of infernal powers, patriarchy, and class society. They built nations, cities, near-utopias. In this time, a group of psionists began experimenting with other mortals to see if these other mortals could learn how to wield psionic energy. After much experimentation, they eventually discovered that by various methods of meditation, focus, and the use of special metal headbands. Castor, always one to seek greater and greater achievement, was part of this work and helped teach non-psionist mortals how to train their minds. While working in the lab that helped develop the headbands and studied minds in order to figure out how to harness psionic energies, he happened to start regularly using a thin metal lens that allowed him to see alterations in time. This littany metal lens, which he sometimes attaches to his own headband, became synonymous with him because of how often he used it.

Later, when a group of powerful esotericists began studying how to create the sky continent Gyrah, Castor joined their work, drawn in by his mentor Vater Vespasian Mendaen ("vater" being a title for a male elder). He helped coordinate the work between the psionic powers and the aetherial powers, working closely with Anesu, a mutumwa (very fast shapeshifter) magonian (wind mage). They became good friends during the process.

Years later, Castor lives in Gyrah, in the region that will one day be known as Psyara, with his community, the Falcos. They are descended of a hunter-gatherer tribe whose animal symbol was the falcon, due to a legend among them that they once rode the minds of those birds to scout for food.

As a child, Castor was fond of a telekinetic sport they colloquially called menspila ("mindball"). As an adult, he has gotten involved in casual theatrical performances amongst his community and other psionist communities.

He decided to learn healing arts because he was told his people were great healers, so he honors them this way. He is very well respected in the Falco community.

Ostorius was an aeronaut even before Gyrah was raised. He worked with the teams that helped raise Gyrah as a consultant, explaining what winds were like at that height, and during that time, had a fling with Castor.

She was a short-lived connection, as she is even more outdoors than Floronia somehow. She worries that mortals are getting too soft and need to harden themselves to survive hard times. She was his most physical attraction.
• Nombandeg, shemir ex-lover from a very different community, n, ecologist. They are 127 years old, the most recent fling Castor has had. They came to Gyrah a few years after the rising to study the ecological impact. They are very curious and very knowledgeable.
• Anesu, trans woman mutumwa magonian, colleague of Castor in the raising of Gyrah. She is a spiritual leader among her people in Taggarus. She claims she was guided to help raise the continent by the spirits (elementals), with whom she raced to become their wielder. She worked closely with Castor to help blend the powers of the mind, of movement, and of wind.
• Yashru Mindbearer, wathite menstriae, student whom Castor distrusted and disliked for taking things too far with subconscious psionics, 57 years old, m. He has a very dominating personality and tends to overstep his bounds. He was once known as Yashru Clevertongue before he learned psionics. He left study of psionics to go teach what he learned to his own people, but Castor always suspected he had other motives.

He is single-minded about scientific study of psionics and the brain. He can talk for hours and hours about it. Castor helped him establish his own lab on Gyrah to study further.

She is known for her strong bonds to her own community, which work differently but remind Castor of the hive mind. She makes a lot of leaps in logic that surprise him. Castor helped her show her people her new skills and find an honored role among them because of it.

Convictions

• Castor considers the superstitious and metaphorical aspects of the nascent worship of the hive mind Alvum Animo to be vulgar and unnecessary, but the hive mind itself is a very powerful constrruct in that it can open up enhanced processing storage, transferance, and other psionic possibilities, much faster response times and communication. He sees it like we see the Internet - as something with vast potential. He is in favor of it, but doesn't see it as larger than the people it serves. Instead, it is something that serves the people
• We can do more than we've ever imagined. We can understand this universe. We just have to apply ourselves - the possibilities are endless. We can end scarcity mindset, end need. Let's do this, let's raise Gyrah into the sky. and achieve our greatness.
