Infernal essence of oath-breaking and the rejection of righteousness.

Description

The energy of the rejection of righteousness, the rejection of oaths and agreements. Generated through the breaking of a sacred oath, it is an arnic power that taints the soul. It is contained within fuligin. The price for wielding this infernal essence is existing outside of grace. Ambrosia broken by a rejection of Divinity, blasphemy is controlled in much the same way Divine energy is. It can be used to nullify or destroy Divine energy, harm Divines, and destroy Divine objects--it can even harm The Law. It takes physical shape in the form of fuligin metal, sand, water, stone, or bodies. Wielding blasphemy can harm a person's soul unless they have special protections.

Variations

Blasphemy interacts with ambrosial powers and may create subcategories of blasphemy or another infernal essence:
  • Ambrosia: if blasphemy interacts with ambrosia, it remains blasphemy, as this is the base form.
  • Divine Will: if blasphemy interacts with Divine will, it creates baal essence, blasphemous Divinity that harms all that is Divine, if it is not destroyed.
  • Karma: if blasphemy interacts with karma, it creates fusei, blasphemous injustice.
  • The Law: if blasphemy interacts with The Law, it creates Harkanian code, blasphemous authority that forces the Divine to harm itself, if it is not destroyed.
  • Mortal Will: if blasphemy interacts with mortal will, it creates fuligin blood, blasphemous, fuliginized mortal blood that poisons the mind, body, and soul against its own self-reliance.
  • Spirit Energy: if blasphemy interacts with spirit energy, it creates ch'jjdii, blasphemous spirits that kill other spirits.
  • Botshepehi: if blasphemy interacts with botshepehi, it remains blasphemy if it is not destroyed.
