Born in the Age of Terror on First Shem, Baeluhk was an ogrish warehouse worker with a small family before his temper sent him to the wrong side of the law, where he became on of the famous resistance group known as the Runners.

He picked the number 54 & lay low for a long time until he fell in with a group of other runners on a mission. For the first time in quite a long time, it seemed that something was starting to get done, & these few Runners stuck together. During this time, Baeluhk met Runner 11, a magical Immortal wielding the First Sword, Egil Salil. The sword picked Baeluhk as his new wielder. Slowly but surely, the sword trained Baeluhk as a warrior of amazing skill, through his trials & tribulations across the Age of Terror & to the other world, Ruiz.

When he returned to Shem as the Age of Terror ended, Baeluhk climbed the Mountain of Trials, becoming Champion of War, & staying with the Runners--now forming a new series of governments across the world.

Soon after, he found himself in the fortress of the Champion of Despair, being lead by Evil to act as betrayer to the Runners for a brief period in order to bring down the Champion of Despair. The ruse worked, due to Baeluhk's ogrish origins.

Afterward, the Runners slowly but surely worked to rebuild the world. Soon, the world was getting back on course, but the armies of Destruction were rising & everything began heading toward the coming Apocalypse. The armies of good & evil clashed, with Baeluhk serving amongst the good, turning the tide of the war by bringing the Father of War in on the side of Hope. After First Shem, Baeluhk turned to the planes, seeking knowledge, while the world was rebuilt.

He learned martial arts, tactics, strategy, warcraft, siegecraft, engineering, psychology, sociology, law, politics, all the things that a man of war must know, & somehow, this brought him the knowledge he needed to defend the cause of peace. He became conflicted.

He returned a wiser man, with a vaster knowledge, & a greater skill. As time passed on Second Shem, Baeluhk slowly began worrying about the prophsied Age of War that was to come, & when the time came, the idea of ruling a world ridden with conflict disturbed him. He balked, refused his master's, the Father of War's, demand. He was banished from Shem until the end of the coming Age, & the world was Cursed. He left, but his family remained, as part of the War God's dictated punishment for him.

He left, seeking absolution & answers. His sorrow soon, however, incapacitated him. Centuries later, the Queen of Cats came to him, seeking information about a powerful sword. However, he was unable to help her in his current state, & Egil Salil, Baeluhk's only companion from Shem in his banishment, suggested she see to breaking the War God's Curse... more to come as the plots develop
