Abdul ibn Taraa'hin was born to the nobility of Tara'hin, heir to a line of knights and warriors, and he did not disappoint. He earned such honor on the battlefield that he was chosen to be the protector of the Tara'hinian Shield, living golden relic of the Line of Lilac. As a vassal to the Shining Throne, he is subject to the Imperial Steward's orders, but he often shows a bit of independence. He has recently begun working for the jeweler Gaina Hawk in her attempts to root out traitors.
