Scribe yazatas have powers that aide them in the administration of their domains. They have a pen made from equinium, called a stylus. A yazata's stylus has the power to inscribe accords, writing lasting treaties and infusing agreement into their words and actions. They have an oculus power that allows them to see danger. They also have an aspectu, which is their power to see and understand the roots of a conflict with a glance.

All scribes understand any non-evil language and have the power to understand their Divine's judgment of a mortal and inscribe it upon the scrolls of Heaven.

Warrior yazatas have powers that aide them in fighting evil. They bear a mace called a clavam and a shield called a scutum (though their appearances to not necessarily match those terms). Their clavam only stuns those it strikes, causing no pain, and their scutum will allow no violence to pass beyond its edge. Their oculus allows them to see danger. They have a presence called a coram, which exudes peace.

Warriors gain power through service. For every 1,000 beings of pure evil they destroy, they gain a new power, capping at twelve:

• First: Summon true herd horses
• Second: Immunity to rending
• Third: Soothing touch
• Fourth: Improve defenses
• Fifth: Invoke treaty
• Sixth: Brighten aura
• Seventh: Heartbonding
• Eighth: Shield the Meek
• Ninth: Untouchable presence, once per Age
• Tenth: End war self-sacrifice
• Eleventh: Command cranes
• Twelfth: Commune with plains

The more evil a foe is, the more attacks a warrior has per round, capping at twelve.

Lord yazatas are the most powerful of all angels. Their very presence exudes power. This is called coram. For lord yazatas, their presence is one of pure serenity, allowing them to repel the violence and dangerous.

Every lord angel gains power both from serving their Divine and from being served by lesser angels. The gain a new power every Age they exist in service, capping at twelve:

• Seconed Age: Immunity to entropy
• Third Age: Instill negotiating skill
• Fourth Age: Shield the meek
• Fifth Age: Soothe emotional pain
• Sixth Age: Soothing touch
• Seventh Age: End war self-sacrifice
• Eighth Age: Create friendship
• Ninth Age: Improve dodge ability
• Tenth Age: Canonize mortal
• Eleventh Age: Create consensus, once per Age
• Twelfth Age: Lasting peace, 1 mile radius

yazatas serve Serenity.

Scribe yazatas administer the work of the Sanctum. They keep track of the acts of violence and peace of all mortals and followers of Serenity. They do all of the minor tasks that make the realm of Peace, Calm, and Friendship work.

Herald yazatas spread peace in the world. They leave the Sanctum and spread the Word, seeking out those mortals who will do great works of peace and accord in the world and empowering them. They also carry messages for Serenity between Her and other Divines.

Warrior yazatas are the army of Protection and Peace. They oppose evil in all its forms and serve as Serenity's defense against the powers of the Infernal. They are a calm, disciplined army led by their Leader Azman.

Guardian yazatas protect the meek and followers of Serenity. They exist as protectors. Holier beings sometimes have more than one guardian. They cannot leave their service to their ward, or they fall.

Lord yazatas run the Sanctum and see to it that all other yazatas are doing as they must.

Yazatas are revered, even amongst other angels. They spend most of their time in prayer, being unable to harm others. They love to perform mundane tasks for the Divine, being humble and kind. They never sleep.
