A one storey cottage standing on giant chicken legs (standing about 1.5 storeys high). It has no windows or doors. Ksenia uses her cauldron to fly in and out through the chimney, but in case of emergency, one may say "Hut, O hut, turn your back to the woods, your front to me" to force it to reveal a door. It is magically bonded to Ksenia and responds to her conscious and subconscious demands, as well as allowing her to always know where it is in relation to herself. Bigger on the inside than the outside, the hut has four rooms: kitchen, bedroom, parlor, and workshop (this does not count a small washroom that sits off the bedroom). There is a small attic space used for storage, and there is a set of hanging baskets that dangle between the legs where she grows herbs. It has seven charms upon it: subtle when standing still (makes it hard to notice), fire resistance, larger insides charm, insulating charm, protective ward, rain proofing, and inner preservation (keeping objects within from spoiling for a very long time).
