Xelha was taken slave as a child, but easily escaped, living on the streers as an urchin before following their wanderlust into the wider world. However, they always felt connected to Haenor and returned often, connecting with the Red Grith. They took on faith in the Traveler's Friend by working for the Red Grith and being attracted to the philosophy of the deity, but they say they "always knew" the Traveler's Friend, deep down. They are as much a wandering preacher as a vagrant.
