Life in the Kren'atanic mountains of what was once Zul'Bradr was much like it was when it was Zul-Bradr--the strongest tribes reigned.

The Zul'Andar tribe was small, a highland tribe that wrestled with the griffons and perytons for sapce, herded the highland rams, and hunted the mountain lions. Xanug was a typical member of the tribe: athletic, enthusiastic, and cunning. He had a barking voice that would call down a mountainslide and a set of tribal tattoos that proudly proclaimed his affiliation.

As such, when the Zul'Gorug tribe brought bloodfeud against the Zul'Andar, Xanug thought perhaps it would be time to leave. He headed for a new highland range with a few of his friends, where they found a nice cache of sky peridot... and a couple of adventurers offering them something unfounded: the chance to fly.

Xanug, however, was the only one of his friends brave or stupid enough to buy into it.
