After the defeat of Agikaan at Batu Nisan in the Dabusenese Island Bridge, the Empire of the One True God could no longer hold onto all of its territories. The Tenzanese resistance, loyal to their Emperor-in-Hiding, took advantage of the chaos of the time and assassinated over a hundred Agikaanis and Agikaani-loyalists. This was known as chimamire no shi kii-chi no tsuki, or the "month of bloody thresholds." After this long, dark time, the Tenzanese imperials started to reclaim power. Within a few years, the nation of Tenzanai was back to its former strength and prestige, and the jashin no akumu ("nightmare of the false god") was ended. Tenzanai began to flourish in the post-war world.
