The Slaver Empire began in the Age of Empires, when the Champion of Slavery was forced out of Merukis. He began on an uncharted isle, then slowly moved up, eventually dubbing the fortress he built on his original island "Krevzuk," after his own name and the goblin word for "land." Over the Ages, it has ebbed and flowed with the dominant forces of the world, reducing to nothing more than the island fortress in some periods and thriving as a massive island empire during other times.

In the Age of the Wounding, after the chaos of the world wars, the Empire of Krevzuk arose as a dominant sea power, rival to the Merukisi pirates, and a supplier of slaves to the world over.
