During the aftermath of the Age of Mantles, three nations on Fasune stood best ready to dominate: Innes, Dhun, and Kerupen. War broke out between the three in a power struggle that left most of the small continent in ruins. The Innesians, seeing no point after their cities were in flames, withdrew. The Dhunics, always prone to corruption, fell apart from within. Kerupen was left to rule. For centuries, the Kerupene Empire did well for the continent, until the Oramese rebellion, wherein the southern regions fell under the sway of the strange new nation.
