The Island Bridge is a wild, violent place. It has rarely seen any sort of unified front, except under the sway of Champions, and even then, it has been a vast wilderness for the most part. Patches of it are home to small nations or city-states, but most of it has always been wild. With the threat of domination by Agikaan came to the fore, however, the southern regions of it began to unify in a panic. With influence from Obusingye, the Island Bridge was made into a single nation a few hundred miles out from Abaddon. The Alliance, as it was called, slowly fell apart after the threat of Agikaani invasion faded, but one region rose up to dominate swaths of it anyway: the region of Fambar, long a wilderness ruled by the hyperfauna onza, became a cruel nation state ruled by the same hyperfauna.
