Appearing to be the body of a rabbit with antlers, wings, & fangs, the wolpertinger is said to be the animal variant of the jackalope animalman, as well as cousin to the skvader (which is a docile creature composed of a hare' body & wood grouse's wings & tail), the elwedritsche (rabbit body & bull's horns), & the rasselbock (squirrel body, wings, & antlers).
