The Holy Herd is the herd of white horses owned by the the Pantheon of the Alabaster Shield. There are tales of them appearing to protect children from danger and of them fighting off evil on their own. The original white horses were born when the Swanmother summoned holy lightning into the sea to call forth a steed. They are also symbols of fertility.

White horses can walk on clouds (causing gentle rains) and their guts are valued as useful for oracles. They are immune to heat and cold.
