Warrigals have good senses of smell and hearing, but weaker senses of vision. They are natural hunters, with an instinct to go for the weakest target. They can naturally see when something is more than mundane, though they do not register magic, void, or faith specifically. They are very cunning.

Warrigals live in moderate sized packs that exist solely for social and territorial reasons. Hunting is done in smaller groups or alone, depending on the prey. Their society has complex social rules for both normal living and for the very important role of the hunt. There is a complex hierarchy determined by ritual aggression, often split between the male and female populations. Every pack has subgroups for different roles, usually to do with hunting, and these groups will split from the pack to form new packs during hard times.

Every hunt has its own meaning and importance. Prey determines who will hunt and how. Warrigals are known to kill for fun.
