| Description | Wakinyans are thunderbirds. Three types of thunderbirds exist: The lesser thunderbirds, which are about the size of an ostrich, are mortal birds with extraordinary powers. They have eyes of fires, which flash like sheet lightning, & thier wingbeats sound like thunder. The greater thunderbirds are much bigger, and they are split into two categories: teachers & protectors. |

| Special Powers | Wakinyans' wingbeats are loud as thunder. Their eyes flash sheet lightning. They can break open storm clouds with their beaks to start storms, and they are intimidating, skilled fighters. Teachers are gentle, wise immortal birds that never kill or injure anyone. Their powers are much like that of the lesser thunderbirds, but stronger. They can also take the shape of a human once a century & go amongst them. Their teachings generally center around maintaining the balance of nature. Protectors are fierce, powerful immortal birds that are vengeful & wrathful. Their powers are also like that of the lesser thunderbirds, but more powerful. They are also capable of taking human form once a centruy, generally in times of crisis. They can also electrify anything they touch. They always protect the balance of nature, & for this, sometimes come across as harsh or even evil because of their dedication to their duty. |
