| Description | Vysolins appear to be anthropomorphic chameleons. They have zygodactyl feet (3 foretoes, 2 back toes). They have separately mobile and stereoscopic eyes. Their tongues are very long. They walk with a swaying gait and have horns or crests on their heads and nasal protrusions. They can change colors. They tend to be about 6' tall and are very thin. They have no ears. Males tend to be more ornamented. |

| Special Powers | Vysolins have very good vision, climbing ability, and sticky tongues. They have sharp claws. Their eyelids are sealed up, allowing only a pinhole for the pupils. They have prehensile tails. They can hold fire on their tongues and draw nourishment from air. Their tongues are very fast. Vysolins can restore the sight to the blind. They are very cunning. They can cause bad luck in others. Vysolins have the ability to change colors. They don't have a lot of control over it, but they can exert some. They change colors with their moods, but it can be used for signalling and camouflage as well. Their coloration has a natural range that varies by individual. When their lung sacs expand, they become clear. If there is danger behind the person they are looking at, they will turn bright red. Vysolins do not speak. |

| Culture | Vysolins communicate via vibrations and colors and visual signals. They tend to live sedentary lives where they wait in ambush for prey if they are hunters, or simply wait for something worth doing. They are known for being protective of others and for their skills as trusted messengers (because they won't speak of the contents of the messages) and medicine men. |
