A vermiculus is a worm created through alchemical arts, specifically alchemical arts that capture pravum. The chemical recipe for creating a vermiculus
involves the maker's sperm or menstruation, but varies by maker otherwise. Those who do not produce sperm or menstruation can sometimes use that of another, but it requires much more power.
Vermiculi are living, functional living worms, but they do not have souls and cannot reproduce (these two things are not related). They usually stand about 4" tall. The esoteric process to create them leaves them with residual powers and a bond to their maker.
Powers:
The powers of the vermiculi derive from the powers of the maker, but sometimes the msahwat absorbs other powers. All vermiculi produce a toxin that is fatal to children, fertilized eggs, and those who are pregnant.
The Recipe:
The maker must infuse their own blood with drab msawhat distilled into a liquid form, or with the blood of a botched or forced abortion. They then take sperm or menstruation that have been rotted for forty days in a ceramic jar that is stuffed into the dead womb of a sow or an elf. At the end of forty days, it will be a transparent drab-colored worm made of msawhat. It must be fed the blood mixture then for forty weeks until whole.
