Description Velvet venomirs appear to be humans, but with exclusively green eyes.
Procreation Follows the mother.
Magic One in a hundred thousand have heart magic. One in five million have soul magic. Mind and body magic are possible. Void is possible. Faith is not uncommon.
Special Powers Velvet venomirs can alter the emotions of another with a touch, but only negatively. Love will become envy or hatred or obsession. Hope will turn to despair. Calm will turn to frenzy, and so on. They have moderate empathic powers, but their empathic powers take the emotions from those closest and blend with the velvet venomir's own, lessening the emotions of others. Velvet venomirs gain bonuses for altering the emotions of other empathic races.

It wearies a velvet venomir to change the emotions of another, depending on the severity of the change.

Velvet venomirs recognize other empathic races when within empathic range.

They are very resistant to poisons..
Weaknesses Love magic or faith can destroy them.
Culture Velvet venomirs live brutal lives of scheming and betrayal, always working to better each other. They are considered by doppelgangers to be poor imitations, and they consider doppelgangers to be unfairly favored monstrosities. The two peoples live near each other and have a constant rivalry.
