Description An uwan takes no form unless forced to. If forced to, they appear to be a distorted, transparent face with black teeth. They have a sound, though, a voice that can sound like any mortal species. Every uwan sounds different from the others.
Procreation Uwans procreate through splitting off from oneself as they become more powerful.
Esoterica Only powers that can be controlled vocally are possible. Hegnh is impossible.
Special Powers Uwans are ephemeral, taking no form but a voice. Even their one visible form is insubstantial. Because of this, they cannot be harmed by physical means. Their main power is their voice, which they use to startle people in order to absorb their screams or laughter. As they gain more and more, they become louder and harder to hide themselves, so they split themselves into two, reproducing.
Weaknesses Hegnh can bind and destroy an uwan.
Culture Uwans enjoy trickery and surprise. Their preferred method of introduction is a shout of "uwan!" They exist where they can best hide.
