She was helped to escape by other slaves, but she refused to leave Haenor because her parents were still enslaved. After years of trying, she eventually joined the harimtu so as to gain the powers she needed. Though she was able to save her mother (who lives as a retired seamstress), her father was killed during the escape attempt. Now, she works for the Violet Grith, seeking her revenge.
