Origins

When the Book of Names was written, it was split into quadrants to represent the four aspects of the True Name. From these facets, five inmortal beings emerged.

Description

The five uruvakankal each have their own forms:

  • Fihetseham-po: the Face, embodiment of the heart, appears to be a series of flashing lights that form the faces of various animals, depending on the emotions of the viewer.

  • Manontolo: the Whole, embodiment of the whole, appears to be a magenta star of massive size.

  • Matavy: the Conglomeration, embodiment of the body, appears to be a conglomeration of every mortal species that has a physical body.

  • Mpandinika: the Dome, embodiment of the mind, appears to be a geodesic dome of lights and currents, the size of a large hill.

  • Rafitra: the Design, embodiment of the soul, appears to be a series of blue lines forming infinite shapes and figures in the dark.

Procreation

Uruvakankal reproduce by budding off any unaligned being they conceive of, if they please.

Powers

Each individual uruvakankal have their own powers:

  • Fihetseham-po: the Face exudes emotional resonance at a power beyond mortal imagining. They can alter which emotion they exude at will, but otherwise, they have no control.

  • Manontolo: the Whole emanates all four facets of the True Name as great waves and spikes of energy, uncontrolled from within them.

  • Matavy: the Conglomeration can control their physical form, shifting certain parts to be from one species and another part to be from another, at will.

  • Mpandinika: the Dome is a complex matrix, a living computer, a repository of all information, knowledge, memory, and thought. They can relate this through codes of light.

  • Rafitra: the Design simply exists.

Weaknesses

The uruvakankal can be destroyed through special rites, but if they are destroyed, a quarter of the universe (or the whole of it) might be destroyed with them.

Nations

There is no nation of the uruvakankal, who each exist individually. They have servitor nations that serve them.

Culture

The five nations of the uruvakankal are as follows:

  • Fihetseham-po: the Face’s servitor nation is the Llätunka. They are an eastern Palhuric nation of many species who seek to understand fully their own emotions via the Puzzle of Hearts. As servitors of the Face, they alter their own such that they always have nine segments to their faces, each one representing the facets of emotion.

  • Manontolo: the Whole’s servitor nation is the Taqpacha. They are an eastern Palhuric nation of many species who study the Puzzle of Names. As servitor of the Whole, they seek to combine all aspects of the Name within themselves so that they are representative of the whole of all things, meaning they ornament themselves on a physical, mental, emotional, and metaphysical level, altering their entire beings radically.

  • Matavy: the Conglomeration’s servitor nation is the Janchi Tuqita. They are an eastern Palhuric nation of many species who seek to perfect their physical forms via the Puzzles of Bloods, Bones, and Flesh. As servitors of the Conglomeration, they alter their bodies to unite themselves with other physical forms.

  • Mpandinika: the Dome’s servitor nation is the Atamiri. They are an eastern Palhuric nation of many species who seek to understand all knowledge and the mysteries of the mind through the Puzzle of Thoughts. As servitors of the Dome, they seek to upload their minds to the Metanet and to the Dome itself if they can. They computerize themselves. Most have become cyborg mechanicals.

  • Rafitra: the Design’s servitor nation is the Mayakïña. They are an eastern Palhuric nation of many species who seek to understand their inner being and their very souls through the Puzzle of Souls. As servitors of the Design, they seek to redesign their fundamental being through powerful magicks, altering their beings radically.

Esoterica

As the embodiments of the True Name, they are the greatest users of nommic powers that exist. They encompass all things and thus can wield any esoteric energy.

Religion

The uruvakankal are worshiped by many who see them as aspects of the entire universe. Most who worship they do so as concepts rather than extant deities.

Gender

They encompass all.

Language

Outside View

Very few even know they exist. Those that do think of them as concepts that define parts of the universe.
