Description: A ualacan looks like a warthog crossed with an ape, but without the hair, with horns & a whiplike tail. Their skin ranges in hue from red to green.

Procreation: Ualacans procreate with other ualacans during a certain time each year called the Cessation (when the damned souls have a brief reprieve from the punishments of their demon overseers--but not from the punishments of the Hells themselves). Any other procreation with other demons follows the mother. With non-demons, half-demon sado-masochists are created.

Magic: 1/200000 has soul magic, 1/1000000 have heart magic. They can learn mind or body magic. If they have any magic at all, it is used to punish their wards. They generally have weak darkness faith, & they can use void normally.

Special Powers: Firstly, ualacans have the ability to summon the chains of hell to their service. These chains are black, burning chains that bind the damned souls to their places in the Hells. Outside of the Hells, these chains simply cause intense pain, both spiritually & physically. Furthermore, ualacans almost always have a pole arm or mace with which they stab or bludgeon at the souls of the damned, prodding them to & fro to the various punishments of the Hells. These forks or maces do not cause any physical damage, but cause intense soul pain. These weapons can also remove a soul from a body if they have to. If a ualacan loses his fork or mace, he can reforge one if he is in the Hells, by simply crafting the fabric of the Hells into a new weapon, using bits of the souls of the damned to refine it. Ualacans' touch causes intense pain to the soul that they touch as well as the flesh. A difficulty of 10 must be surpassed with dark magic or faith to summon or control a ualacan. They are immune to mundane fire.

Weaknesses: If a ualacan is summoned and bound by a mage or priest of sufficient power, it will be forced to give true answers about hidden treasures and reveal the location of constrictor snakes (and deliver them).

Culture: Ualacans are the lowest run of the family named after them. They are responsible for punishing the damned. They are usually simply allowed to shepherd the damned to & fro in the Hells, gathering them at the entrances or moving them to new punishments. Their more powerful cousins do most of the real work. Ualacans eat some of the weaker sins of the damned, building up their power. After about 5000 venial sins, a ualacans gets to be a pain knight.

Notables: Ganzer, Ultraviolence, whose deceptive form is a young boy with angel wings, riding on a great red dragon.
