Traa' was born to a pair of disgraced minotaur gladiators living in southern Taggarus during the Age of Decline. He grew up learning how to fight, and learning that he would never be accepted into minotaur society. Not having much patriotism in him, he declined to join any local militias or armies, and instead left home at age 13 to join a mercenary band.

At first skeptical to allow one his age to join, the band quickly learned to respect his prowess and cunning, and they made him a true cadet. He learned the dirtier tricks a man can learn for battle from these rough and ready fellows, and soon learned what battle was really like. He earned himself much money and rank in those days, before being sent on a mission into the Island Bridge to defend a daring merchant from the dangers of the Bridge.

They traveled for months without any significant troubles--a few Island dwellers, a few sick days, a wild animal or two, some pirates--before they met their real challenges: a morag. They lost several men in their first encounter with a massive bull-type morag, but Traa' was obsessed thereafter with the beasts, and he alone wished they'd meet another. Instead, they ran into destruction priests out in the Islands looking for enlightenment amongst the ruined isles of Abaddon.

The mercenaries and merchant knew they couldn't defeat the priests, for their power was magnified here, and they knew they couldn't out run them either, so they sought to make a deal. The priests demanded two men from their midst to serve them in exchange for the lives of the others. Traa' volunteered, hoping to convince the priests to show him more morags, and another was knocked out and given to them.

The other man soon died in the crucible of slavery, but Traa' flourished, and soon, the priests were grooming him for power. They took him to Abaddon, where they told him of the coming Age of Terror and the powers of destruction. They have him weapons of great power and women to use as he would. He was treated as a favored warrior should be.

Soon, though, he knew he must seek out more experience and power, and he returned to Taggarus a new man. He sought out similarly minded soldiers and warriors and had them join his new mercenary band, the Triad. He gathered to him 13 mercenaries and began earning their keep, waiting on the day the Shepherd of the Damned would bring the bulk of the future Champions to him.

When that day came, Traa' knew he must return to Abaddon to face the morags there and earn his armor and hammer. He and his band went deep into the Islands to the chain where Abaddon lay, and there, he walked into the lava flows and called out to the morags. One by one, a single member of each type of morag attacked him, and he made it succumb to him, until he stood on a pile of morag stone. From that, he forged armor and hammer, and returned to Taggarus an unstoppable force.

He took the Mountain with ease, crushing under his feet the obstacles before him, and then made his mercenary band his Servitors. He aided the other Champions in the conquering of Tara'hin and doom of the Silver Fisher King, amongst others, then he faced the Mother of Hope in one on one combat as the others sealed her away.

During the Age of Terror, he waited patiently. When the world was Balanced again, he knew it was his time, and the Eschatonic Wars began. He used his powers to command armies of morags and hexars and lead the doom of Hope. His foes could not resist him, and he was called the Tide of the End for his rolling waves of destroyers. In the very end, he stove off the Bronccour's Assassin and even resist the Bronccour himself, but when his god died, he was left crippled. He was captured by the forces of Hope.

During that time, a new Father of Destruction arose, much to his chagrin, but he swallowed his pride and rose up from imprisonment and escaped before they could find a way to kill him. He went to his new god and offered his expertise and powers, and was accepted as a favored warrior should be. He lead the way to the end of the world, but failed to win the war. He chose to remain with the remnants of Shem and forged a palace in Abaddon before Second Shem was created.

Now, he remains in his palace, awaiting a time of power once more, building something horrendous in those depths. He is allied with the Champions of Envy, Void, and Hatred especially, if it comes down to it, but he rarely gets too involved.

His Servitors are the Bone-Handed Ogre, the Split-Eyed Cyclops, the Angelhunter, the Hell-Souled Falcon, the Burning Goblin Master, the Poisoner, the Architect of Devastation, the Triad Priest, the Giant's Brand, the Monster of the South Pole, the Night's Fangs, the Stalker of the Islands, and the Behemothslayer.

12' tall, with black, stony skin, Traa' is a nightmare to behold. He has seven horns, ringing his head, and armor made from the black and gray stone of the morags, and a hammer of the same. The ground cracks beneath his feet.
