Description: A rotting, bloody mobile fetus, stillbirth, or newborn.

Procreation: None. These are undead fetus corpses (or sometimes the corpses of young babies or stillbirths). Priests of the Stillborn God like to make these from their victims' children.

Magic: None.

Special Powers: They scream like upset babies, often to attract concerned folk. They have sharp claws & teeth, mostly covered in blood, placenta, & filth (which often leads to infections). They can crawl, despite often being premature. One who has some of their umbilical cord can control them, and they make excellent thieves. It is a 4 undeath power to create them, & a 13 stillborn faith.

Culture: They often dwell in groups, if the circumstances arise. They seek to kill anyone who they come near, except for those who created them. They devour the flesh of their victims, to no discernable advantage beyond pehraps the pleasure of ripping them to shreds. They will turn on each other if no victims appear within several weeks. To look upon them is to face revulsion. Their screams of agony are not feigned, of course, so there is no perception roll to distinguish between their cries & the cries of a real child.
