Obusingye arose as a powerhouse nation under the leadership of Balkis Windsong, the legendary Queen of Cats, perhaps the greatest warrior to ever live. She built what she saw as a meritocracy, and though it was far from perfect, it succeeded in ways other nations never did. Many, many legends come from there. In Azet, across the continent, the nileans are a nation of cat folk who practice magical arts, and in Doroba, the rannaju are a warrior nation who face great threats without fear. One of each of these nations will find themselves involved in uncovering the legacy of Balkis and facing an unimaginable threat to Shem.

Arcs :
1. Merit:
A young Obusingye warrior must pass a series of tests as they move up in the ranks of the military. It is tradition that every warrior must face the tests at certain times in their lives, but any warrior--indeed, anyone at all--may attempt to pass the tests at any time. A group of new recruits, none of them men, all join together to try to pass them all at once and win the legendary sword Balkis's Legacy.

PCs:

2. Blue Zone:
The Circle of the Black Ear is a group of poweful nilean bondsmagi, each in bonded pairs (as almost all nileans are), who hunt in the Azeti wilds for magical beasts to bond to and gain power. On the hunt, a group of the bondsmagi encounter a blue zone coming from a strange source, a bottle leaking immense power, and must face dangerous consequences.

PCs:

3. Venomous Fortune:
In the Doroban culture, it is considered a great honor to be chosen for a difficult task. A powerful Doroban leader has decided to launch an expedition to find a rumored beast. The expedition leads to a giant mamba, a Gifted Claw, and new secrets that propel the expedition beyond its original scope.

PCs:

4. The Butchers:
After achieving the impossible, the new Obusingyean warriors are given a task by their chief: defeat a Worowian force of ruthless mercenaries raiding throughout central Taggarus. Using the sword Balkis's Legacy and a collection of special weapons granted to them for the task, they set out.

PCs:

5. Mana Pool:
After uncovering a conspiracy to sellout their nation to enemies from distant shores, the Circle of the Black Ear asks its hunters to take a Gifted Wand, the Nilean Wand, and head far south to Gatabara, where they can use it to bind the whole nation to a powerful source of mana.

PCs:

6. Crimson Queen:
Many legends say that there was a time in Balkis Windsong's life that she was a reever known as the Crimson Queen. Since her death, many have tried to take on this mantle, but currently, a felinian woman named Makeda takes the title. She claims to be Balkis's long-lost daughter. She is an able warrior, a talented leader, and a clever sailor, and she keeps to herself when not actively leading. She sails the seas north of Taggarus, where she and her crew raid slaver ships to free slaves, hit merchant ships of settler states and colonizers, and face powerful monsters. Players would be members of her crew going deep into the Island Bridge and discovering some dark secrets.

PCs:

7. Invading Forces:
After learning that the Butchers served a more deadly master, the Obusingyean warriors head toward Worow to learn more. Their journey, perilous through ravaged lands, brings them into the heart of a battle with outsider forces from distant shores.

PCs:

8. Broken Sword:
The Doroban expedition follows their new leads southeastward, going all the way to West Hawauk. There, they find the Butchers and other agents of the invading forces in secret control of many small towns and cities. They strike the hidden base there and find a legendary artifact--and more secrets.

PCs:

9. Admiral Anzor:
Bonded to an entire nation, the Circle of the Black Ear now has access to enormous magical power, which they have used to arm and protect all of Azet and allied nations. Their hunters, however, wish to face the enemy directly. They head out into the Island Bridge, where they encounter the Crimson Queen's crew. Teaming up, they seek the hidden fleet of the enemy together, discovering a powerful magical enemy with a Gifted Quill of Manadrawing and more evil than they anticipated.

PCs:

10. Sword of Pillars:
After defeating the Worowian warlords and their allies, the Obusingyean forces coordinate with their continental allies. The warriors learn the target of the invaders is the Mountain of Trials. Seeking to head them off, they go into Okagua, where they face off against the Butchers and their allies who are raiding the homeland of Obiefune using one of his swords, the Sword of Pillars.

PCs:

11. Trials:
All four groups converge on the Mountain of Trials, where they race the Invader Lord to the top and meet a Divine force who has been keeping one of Balkis's lost weapons, an Aeonian creature known as the Triple Cat, and the Beast of Ordeals. Players would be characters from all past arcs
