Curse:
Thistlewhip has lived a long, long life, far longer than most normal halflings. Long ago, before the incident that took half his foot, he tricked an old woman out of the money she planned to bequeath to her grandchildren. The woman realized too late what had happened, but she invoked the righteous power and laid a curse upon him: he would find no rest or home, for 1000 years, he would be forced to wander the world, denying him the eventual settling down most halflings turn to in their old age. For many years, he did not even know of the curse, but as he grew older and his body did not, he sought answers. When he learned of the curse, he took it as a blessing, and he as yet has not faced the full meaning of his predicament.

Description/Backstory:
Jack is a halfling thief and conman, though his real name is Thistlewhip Brownhill. "Jack Rabbit" was a somewhat derogatory nickname given to him because of his cleverness and/or selfishness in using people to get what he wanted. He was disowned by my clan and banned from his village a long time ago. Later, he had most of my right foot cut off after being caught stealing. He uses a staff/cane as a crutch, but can move much faster hopping than he lets on. He tends to ingratiate himself to people and act as dependent on them as he can. He's naturally friendly and co-operative, while covertly stealing when he can or trying to sneakily undermine anyone who has more sway or power than him.
