The Unicorn is the fifth unicorn, of which there is only ever one at a time. The Unicorn is the second most powerful faerie and one of a very few that the Faerie Queen respects. He is a paragon of the unconscious mind, a symbol of innocence, power, and understanding. He has become synonymous with the Dream Realm, and should there be a time without a unicorn, no one will ever dream. The Unicorn has the power to, once a century, put everyone in the world to sleep. The Unicorn has sent his Disciples once more into the world to seek out the nine children upon whom the fate of the world rests.
