Yeah in the daytime Im Mr. Natural, just as healthy as I can be,But at night Im a junk food junkie. Good lord have pity on me.

Denial is a defense mechanism, to preserve the balance in a situation that naturally risks imbalance. These Brothers and Sisters are not lying to themselves to say they are Human. They are, and their Humanity is real. But they are lying to themselves to fear what they see in the mirror.

The True form:
A True Form Kaiju is a character who has has focussed his entire life on becoming a good, Conscious creature who fits in nicely in conscious society, and he has done so at the expense of his connection to the Unconscious. Sometimes this decision is a direct result of fear of something he knows about himself that would make him not fit in, probably his emotional balance. Sometimes it is a more positive intent to just be a good citizen, family member, or whatever. Players playing such a character should imagine a touchstone that appears to all the world to be a normal healthy person. The character probably has some debilitating trauma in his or her life, but he hides it well, buried under a concrete dome of Conscious force. He or she will likely be very successful in his conscious life, and probably respected in his field.
The eruption will likely be in public, and at a very inopportune time for his or her business prospects. It will very likely threaten to wreck his or her life, and the trigger will most likely relate to whatever it is he or she fears about himself. But--and he will never admit this consciously--the act of erupting will both scare him stupid and feel really really good. Friends and Family should learn the signs of emotional distress, and only ever talk to the Kaiju form without fear or anger when attempting to talk him down. They should also remind him that he can turn his emotional energy to good purposes, and seek to encourage that lest he become a Dragon. Under no circumstances should anyone try to repress the emotional energy. That will be dangerous for both the offending party and the Kaiju, and they won't be able to anyway. If he is going to be a danger, get to a safe distance and take any bystanders with you. If he seeks to direct the energy to good uses, to harmonize with it, give him whatever help he needs.
Eruption:
There is always one particular unmet need the True Form will attempt to meet, and as such, eruption is always prelude to a hunt. The True Form has the second most specific unfulfilled need of all the Kaiju (the first is the Bogeyman, yet to come). There is some energy, fuel source, or emotion that the True Form must have, and you won't like him if he doesn't get it. This need is symbolized by a trigger for their transformation, or something without which they start to lose control. Lycanthropes who need fresh meat and blood, Mr Hyde who needs socially-unsanctioned sexual release, or Bruce Banner who needs calm and reassurance, all three periodically succumb to the call of their need, and they will not stop until it is fulfilled. Any who attempt to get in the way of their hunt is in danger.
Now, most people would just take care of the need. But a True Form can't do that, because they do not know need without shame. Dr. Jekyll could not simply go out and have wild sex, because he lived in Edwardian England. A werewolf cannot go out and hunt, because we're expected to get our meats at the store, in a civilized manner. Bruce Banner could not show his true feelings for Betty Ross, because her father was both his boss and a powerful military officer. What a True Form seeks is release.
A True Form must come to be at peace with his need. He must be shown how to pursue his need without shame, and part of doing that is letting him be honest about it, first to himself, and then to others. An ally who can at best secure the energy for him or at least recognize the signs and stop asking questions and make himself scarce at the right times can go a long way toward helping the True Form Kaiju become more balanced, and adept at using both his forms. It is that adept balance that is the goal of a True Form's existance, and the only sign of their health that matters.

Title: First of all, if you try to talk to the Human form of a True Form Kaiju about his Kaiju form, hell deny it, either because he genuinely doesnt know he has the True Form, or because hes ashamed or afraid of it. In Kaiju form, however, he actually usually prefers to be addressed familiarly, if he has a preference at all in the matter. Actual cases may vary, of course. Some Humans or other Kaiju might bestow a title combining location and form (eg: The beast of Red River Bend, or The Vancouver Werewolf). Really, you just have to feel this one out.
