Description

Thaumagi appear to be thin, frail humans with domed foreheads, and rich green or grey skin. Green skinned thaumagi have typical bonding magics, but grey thaumagi are "spelldrinkers."
Procreation

Follows the mother. Halfbreeds are possible but rare.
Magic

All have all four bonding magics. Void is impossible, faith is rare.
Special Powers

Thaumagi are the masters of bonding magic, and every thaumagi bonds with a familiar by the age of 100. They can see on the magicscale. Some also have the ability to drain magic from others--people or things, if they have soul magic or enchantment upon them. Rare individuals can actually give mana to others.
Weaknesses

Void is deadly to them. The spellhunter virus causes them to need, in a vampiric way, to drain mana from others.
Culture

Thaumagi live scholarly lives, finding new beings to bond with and earn the magic of. An individual thaumagos takes on a lot of the characteristics of their main familiar. Cats are common. They study the connective nature of their magic.
