| Description | Taloses appear to be winged, bronze giants (12') that glow like the sun. Their wings can be hidden within their bodies, and they can take the form of a bull. |
| Procreation | With each other to create more taloses. |
| Esoterica | As beings of fate and solar aether, taloses have an affinity for the arts of solar aether and fate. They also wield damaskian powers, heavenly light, radiance wind aether, rubedian aether, mana, seasonal aether, poioumenon, symbolism, and karma. Lunar aether, msawhat, infernum, flux, and fortune are impossible for them to wield. |
| Special Powers | Taloses do not have the ability to vanish, but their sun-like glow can blind those who stare too long. They can heat themselves up to an intense temperature to injure those who they touch or melt stones or other large objects, which they can hurl vast distances. They can empower others with their light. Taloses create contracts on brass tablets, which they bring around the islands to the villages, to give mortals various powers. |
| Weaknesses | Taloses have one vein running from neck to ankle, sealed at the ankle with a brass nail. If the nail is removed, their blood (molten lead) will spill out and they will die. Msawhat, fortune, and flux can harm them. |
| Nations | Taloses have two distinct nations: common taloses and automatons. The latter are living brass statues with no transforming powers who were among those taloses hypnotized and cursed by the ancient sorceress Medea. They live on a single island where they create a massive brass structure to reach the sun. |
| Culture | Taloses live in island communities, where they protect their shores from invaders and pirates. The original taloses were ifrits who saved a woman from the same and were transformed by the Sun Goddess for their deed, and to this day, taloses serve to protect islands. As part of their daily rituals, taloses in the community will circle the island three times a day, flying rings around it. |
