The history of the Monsapple Trading Company is long and complicated, but sometime a few hundred years after their founding, one of the founding family became an Aeonian. Since then, they have become indisputably one of the most powerful corporations in the world (not that they weren't already). They began as a trading consortium, but they have expanded into every vein of commerce they could find, including ones specifically chosen to irritate their long, bitter rivals in Littany Corporation. They control Jesenya, the Lithosphere, and the Wyren Ocean.
