Cassaru, the Northern Continent, is the continent that caps the north pole. In its center is the World Tree, a massive tree that dominates the roof of the world. Around the World Tree is the Forest of Genesis, and around that are the mountains known as the Horns of the World. Around that is the Cassaran Tundra and around that, the Polar Ice. Nu Corp owns most of Cassaru now, except for the Forest of Genesis, the cities of Chronur and Cal-Myran (which remain invisible to the outside world), and the World Tree itself (proclaimed public domain by the Divines themselves). Despite this, Nu Corp keeps its major antennae in the World Tree's branches.
