Ballaman Tree
Trees with teal bark and grey leaves. They are a rare but hardy part of the lunar landscape, mostly on the edges of the maria, near ice deposits. They react to the cycles of the moon they are on.

Snakes with alternating blue bands and reflective bands. They live in the rilles of the moons, using their reflective skin to protect them from energies and magic.

Crescent Sawfly
Sawflies with crescent markings on their bodies. They do not have stingers, but they are often confused for having one. They are dark blue and grey in color. They have white antennae. They can sense energies and have the ability to send freezing blasts with their mouths.
Crescent-Horn Sheep
Sheep with crescent-shaped horns. They gleam when the moon is in its crescent phase, allowing them to sense energies, see in the dark, and move with greater speed.
Cyclical Shrub
A shrub that goes through a three-stage cycle: the first gives off a light, the second gives off a dusty cloud that obscures it, and the third burns with an intense power.
Dusky Moon Shrimp
Seed shrimp with translucent forms. They get dark in the center of their bodies, which are a whirl of night energy. They can become invisible at will. They live in the lunar rilles, deep in them.
Farside Monkey
Night monkeys who live on the farside of the Grey Moon. They only come out at night, when they gather food. Otherwise, they remain in the lunar dorsa, deep in the ridges. They are excellent climbers.
Floating Hagfish
Hagfish who ooze magical slime that creates odd mists in the lunar orbits. These slimy mists create traps that they use to capture their prey.
Golden Yucca
Joshua/yucca trees who flourish during the long lunar days. They glow in the sunlight and can channel its warmth.
Heavy Globemallow
A kind of globemallow found on orbital bodies with light gravity.
Grey Eagle
Eagles with grey feathers. They can fly through the light atmosphere of the Grey Moon and anywhere without atmosphere, but heavy atmospheres keep them grounded. They are sharp of eye and strong. They live in the mountains.
Hoary Agave
A kind of agave found near lunar ice.
Izbochena Goba
Mushrooms in the shape of a gibbous moon. They have big puffs that create sleepiness.
Konji
The konji appear to be sleek, scaled three-legged horses that are used as pack animals, draft animals, and riding animals by the mesecinae. They are peaceful animals who are very friendly.
Letter-Winged Orbital Kite
Kites (birds of prey) with white and black feathers which are mostly white with black chests. They are very fast, very keen of eye, and very powerful magically. They fly as high as upper orbit.
Lode Willow
Willow trees with magnetic leaves. They live in small clusters in the mountains. They absorb metals that get caught in their branches.
Lunar Beetle
Blue and grey beetles who rule the sublunar realms. They eat stone, metal, crystal, and ice. Their chitin is reflective.
Lunar Mesquite
Mesquite trees which grow in the harshest places on the Grey Moon. They reflect esoteric energies with their leaves, as well as radiation, heat, and cold.
Lunar Wolf
Blue and grey anthropomorphic wolves who are a major nation on the Grey Moon. Their howls can make the moon rise, it is said.
Magnetic Ocotillo
A kind of ocotillo flower on the Grey Moon that is magnetic.
Mirrorshell Tortoise
Tortoises with reflective shells. They are large, sturdy tortoise folk who live in craters, usually near the bottom, using their shells to redirect light to where they need it. Their shells also reflect magical energies. They are slower but strong.
Moon Rabbit
Rabbits with dark grey and blue fur. They live on the lunar maria and can see things going on on Shem.
Moonbear
Black bears with white markings on their chests. They dwell in the forests and mountains of the Grey Moon. Their markings protect them from magic.
Moondust Chinchilla
Chinchillas with dark grey fur. They dwell on the lunar maria, dancing and bathing in the dust. They are quick and nimble, and their fur protects them from radiation and heat and cold.
Moonflower
The most common lunar flower, mostly on the Grey Moon, which thrives on lunar energy.
Moonhopper Weta
Wetas which are grey, blue, and black in color that they can leap from moon to moon.
Moonjumper Cow
Blue cows which, when a moon is full, can leap over it - meaning from one end to the other. They otherwise are slow and sturdy.
Moonspanner Millipede
Millipedes which can, when moons are near to each other, stretch to span between them. They are about 30' long in their unstretched form.

Orbital Dance Fly
Flies with black chitin, starry wings, and huge red eyes which live in vast swarms of tens of thousands. They are sources of incredibly complex magic.

A kind of lavender flower in the upper atmosphere of all moons.

Palm trees which flourish in the dark. Their leaves and bark are very dark black. Their shadows are larger and deeper than they should be.
Sizzling Pear Cactus
A kind of cactus on the Grey Moon that is full of acid instead of water.
Star Palm
Palm trees with glittering fronds. They photosynthesize starlight and not sunlight. They can alter gravity with their roots.
Starry Creosote
Found on the Grey Moon and asteroids, these flowers photosynthesize starlight.
Teal Moth
Moths whose blue and green wings gather and spread moon dust. They fly between worlds and moons, but they are from and always return to the Grey Moon. They are keepers of secrets and mysteries.
Teal Panther
Blue and green panthers (not jaguars or leopards, but a separate solid-hued great cat species) who dwell in the mountains of the Grey Moon. They are attuned to the cycles of the Grey Moon.
Teal Slug
Blue and green slugs who dwell in the lunar rilles. They live at the bottom of the trenches. They warp the lunar stone under them.
Three-Tailed Skink
Skinks with three tails. Each tail tunes to different moons, shining when it is full and giving them different abilities.
